So, I decided to give this a go, because I saw several posts about it.

Iunno, maybe I'm missing something, but it was a bit disappointing. I heard "escape room", and I thought there would be fun puzzles and riddles.

Gameplay's kinda basic. But I understand that's not the main point. Maybe it's just my computer, but there was no music or sound. Story wasn't there for me. Maybe if I got the true ending? I get ideas and snippets of what you're going for, but overall, there just wasn't enough.

i got the true ending in 5 minutes wtf

Hi, I saw your game with HonestDan and decided to give it a try. It is really complex and weird. There are clues that are a bit subjective and hard to understand. I don't know exactly what is the character's main struggle though I have a few theories. Some feedback:

-Your game reminds me to "Milk inside a bag of milk" https://store.steampowered.com/app/1392820/Milk_inside_a_bag_of_milk_inside_a_ba...

-Gameplay is pretty good, mechanics are tight and it feels good walking and investigating around

-Puzzle needs more story and there should be a direct message telling you something changes when you decide not to do things like "Don't fix the clock"

-You need somebody to proofread the english version! I am sure there're people willing to localize your game for free in Reddit as long as you put them on the credits!

-The music when you go to sleep is too happy. There are really good resources on the internet to use free music. Maybe try classical music or look for Creative Commons songs that you can use freely

-I think you can make a big version of this game without a crowdfunding, but I would charge for it and put this version as a demo or maybe tell its just a "prologue"

I may seem harsh, but I feel there's something here that has potential. Puzzles and complex themes are very cool and can have meaning and depth that other games lack.

I think you should start making another chapter and iterate with all the things you did great on this game which are:

-Base mechanics are perfect, you discover things and get different endings while discovering the story

-Simple graphics work very good.

-RPG Maker is a good way to show off your art (not the graphics, but your writing), specially when the main focus is the story and puzzle.

-The day-loop idea is very cool but I think you can expand on this a bit more

-I like the mystery. I like learning and theorizing what's wrong with the character

Keep making games! :D

i will only say it's not very intuitive, i think that's my only qualm with it, otherwise it's a good game for a little self contained thing

thanks for the feedback :D

Porque? Etc

;)

can you give me a tip on how to get the true end?

no i didn't

Hello, so sorry to reply you this late but to get the true ending you have to find the answer for the puzzle to finish the game. If you saw the credits scene, you found the true ending :D

(1 edit)

Aside from the graphics being a bit difficult to look at and the audio being a bit too high. I liked that it was a bit of a puzzle. Good job and keep up the development.

Was this in RPG Maker?

Thank you so much :D
I will make some updates in the game yet to be perfect.

Yes, it was made in RPG Maker MV

I like the concept :) don't worry about the haters. There's potential!

Thank you so much for the advice :D

Keep seeing the positive right?! :D

(+1)

Exactly :) we learn from our mistakes and improve.
And I like your take on the loop genre. I don't see it often. I can see you refining and improving the loop, interaction and general flow of the game. Into something more polished

Hello, so I updated somethings and I would love to see your feedback now :D

Honest feedback:

-Graphics: The desk is cut off and the main player looks mushed. They're also clearly ripped from Pokémon.

-Sound: Music is pleasant but gets annoying after awhile.

Gameplay: You'd have to be a masochist to enjoy this. Way to boring and simple. Also there's way to many spelling errors and poorly written sentences.

Final thoughts: It's incredibly monotonous  and the comment about JK Rowling being awful for "wanting to kill trans people" is not only untrue, but slanderous as well. Totally unnecessary and is the real reason I stopped playing.

Thank you so much for the feedback and thanks for taking your time read this, it's good to see things that me as a developer can improve. Let me ask you one thing: Do you like puzzle games? Sometimes people come here and play it without knowing that is a puzzle game.

a year late but this person is an idiot, and transphobic, so don't even bother with them

Thank you so much for properly crediting me!

The game has to be played, you can't predict what's about until you give it a go! Great job ;)

And thank you for the biggest help, you are amazing!

Hope we could do some more works together :D
